GRC on Bioorganic Chemistry
June 11 - June 16
The Bioorganic Chemistry Gordon Research Conference (GRC), established in 1992, brings together interdisciplinary scientists pursuing challenges at the interface of chemistry and biology. Attendees from industry, academia and other research institutions convene annually to discuss the latest molecular approaches and tools to understand, probe and modulate biological complexity. The 2017 edition will broadly focus on the structure-function relationships in biomolecular recognition with an emphasis on the role of weak forces and dynamics, with specific sessions on biopharmaceuticals, conformational disorder in recognition, and translation of chemical biology approaches to new drugs and materials. Conferees are encouraged to present posters. Poster presenters should submit an abstract with their applications on the GRC web site. A number of poster presenters will be invited to present short talks. As this meeting usually oversubscribes, submission of applications in early 2017 is strongly encouraged.
