Prof. Bert Meijer and prof. Maarten Merkx (TU/e and ICMS) and coworkers published an article in Nature Communications, where they demonstrate the ability to control protein activity by dynamic recruitment on supramolecular polymer platforms. This work demonstrates the strength of synthetic supramolecular polymers as an ideal protein recruitment platform and shows that the assembly of protein complexes along these supramolecular polymers can efficiently and dynamically control protein activity.
