Professor Syuzanna Harutyunyan working at the University of Groningen was awarded with the Homogeneous Catalysis Award 2017, from the Royal Society of Chemistry.
Syuzanna was awarded for pioneering work on asymmetric synthesis, establishing an entirely new role for Cu(I)-based catalysts and the use of Lewis acid and Grignard reagent combinations.
