On December 7, 2016 the KNCV Gold Medal was awarded to FMS associate professor Syuzanna R. Harutyunyan (University of Groningen). The KNCV Gold Medal is the most prestigious Dutch recognition for chemical talent, and the award ceremony took place during the 3-days chemical conference CHAINS.
