The bio-organic chemistry group of Prof. Jan van Hest (Radboud University) together with collaborators from the universities of Utrecht, London, Helsinki and Bordeaux, and the company ChemConnection have been awarded a 3.9 M€ ITN grant by the Horizon2020 program of the European Union. The focus of the program is to develop smart carrier systems that deliver drugs to selected places in the human body.
ITNs (Innovative Training Networks) support competitively selected joint research training and/or doctoral programmes, implemented by European partnerships of universities, research institutions, and non-academic organisations.
