The Netherlands Organisation for Health Research and Development (ZonMW) has awarded a two million euro grant to Prof. Alan Rowan to turn his hydrogel made out of helical polymers (Nature, 2013) into biomimetic active wound dressings for direct application by the clinicians in burns and deep ulcer wounds.
